Black Flor

Mis recuerdos de ella nunca fueron muchos,

(She rumored down the kitchen floor, she smelled like room temperature orange juice,

she whispered in my ears.)

(She used to disappear the parmesan cheese, drink the remaining food and make a mess in my room, she took my favorite toy to make a soup.)

(She turned violent with time,

she threw me off the bed and hid me in the closet;

she tried to make me fall from the balcony,

I was stronger at the time.)

(“I told you, shadow, to shut up and listen.

She stood up just an inch from the floor, in flames, looking straight at me.)

(A flat “C” note came out of it, making me dizzy; her blue hair floated in the air.)

“No te puedo odiar, lo siento.”

(Her fire burnt out, and so did her voice.

She couldn’t stop crying.)

(She tried to disturb me for the next three months, from time to time singing her song to my ear, I just couldn’t see her anymore, it’s been such a long time.)

(she tried to smile at me with that black rose on her mouth, I just ignored her,

and she whispered: “I didn’t kill your father, pretty, I just helped him to sleep”).

Sabía que mentiría por un poco de atención;

(But hey, Isn’t that her standing next to you?)
